✨𝟠 𝔻𝕒𝕪𝕤 𝕆𝕗 𝕊𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕠𝕣𝕤✨ Getting back on track with our senior Tributes!! Marisa McClure landed here in large part because Shacks had coached her for a year during a club stint with FC Virginia. It was then Shacks saw the potential in this young athlete with her incredible gift of lightning speed. Ris has progressed from the most shy freshman, barely even able to look us in the eye during meetings, to one of the most respected and trusted leaders on the team. She took her role on our Tribe Leadership council very seriously, always mentoring younger players and the first to speak up when we needed some inspiration. Some players have such incredible potential that it causes coaches to push them just a little harder. And we did with Ris, but no one put more pressure on Ris than she put on herself.
