On display at velocityinvitational 2023 is the Original-Teile Mercedes CLK-GTR from 1998 that raced at 24h of Le Mans. While this is not the exact Mercedes CLR that famously flipped at Le Mans 1999, it is still wild to see the GT-1 beast in its flesh, let alone being unleashed on track. Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0 liter V12, it produces 600hp while the car only weighing in at 2200lbs, which is lighter than a Miata.
