We all now know and love the last generation of Ford GT, yes the one with the Ecoboost™️ V6 from the F-150? Well, that car was never really supposed to exist… until this happened. Ford initially wanted to go back to Le Mans in 2016, the 50th anniversary from the first time they beat Ferrari in the French Countryside. However, the mustang chassis just was not goo enough to compete in now defunct GTE class. So, Ford and Multimatic got together and created the all-new Ford GT, and the car was a success.
