Hear from Jenna: In her own fashion, Hazel Mae picked her own birthday and joined us September 27, 2024, which was six weeks early. At 6 lbs and 4 oz, she’s been a fighter! While this experience has not been anything short of terrifying, we have the amazing Riddle Hospital employees to thank for all the positive reinforcement they have given us over our stay here at the NICU. Through graduating off her CPAP/Cannula, to learning how to feed/breastfeed, this team has been her full time advocate for Hazel living her best life.
