Two of the Pacific Northwest’s most famous therapy animals, Beni the llama and Captain Jack the alpaca, returned to Portland International Airport on Thursday to deliver a gentle nudge of happiness to Halloween travelers. For roughly 90 minutes, Beni and Captain Jack, along with Gregory, Joy and a handful of volunteers greeted passengers and airport employees who lined up to pet and pose for photos with the adorable animals in PDX’s shiny new terminal and ticketing area.
