Check out these field updates that have been a massive undertaking since the season ended. 💪 There is new sod that was placed at Homer Stryker Field in the base paths, around home plate, the pitchers mound and more along the edges. This will create a more defined edge on the lips of each playing surface where the grass meets the turf. As the the team treats the sod with nutrients and water through the Fall & into next Spring - the colors will match the current grass around it. The Kalamazoo Parks & Recreation (kzooparksandrec) have worked extremely hard to make this happening.
