EDIT WITH ME! We had the wickedly awesome opportunity to collaborate with kaitlynxwong cassieofalltrades and annaxthread on this Maleficent Halloween shoot. I wanted to show a bit of my creative process for this photo. Something I will always try to do is make sure I light my subject properly during the photoshoot so that post production is more focused on creativity. Maleficent always has her trusty bird friend, Diablo with her, so I figured why not see if we can add him. I shot this photo with editing Diablo in mind. It’s always important for me to think these things out while I’m shooting so I can bring the concept to life! This photo was lit with one Godox AD600 Pro, and the sun behind Kaitlyn. We had our trusty Smoke Ninja to create that haze already in the background, but for this final photo I wanted just a bit more. Really happy with how this turned out!
