STEPPING UP: The Knights took an early lead in the opening set forcing a Henrickson time out with the Knights ahead, 9-4. Freshman Piper Adair and senior Helen Rodgers kept the Knight momentum going with kills assisted by junior Lexi Rosenblatt. After consecutive aces by senior Greta Carlson, the Knights kept up the early onslaught. To their dismay, however, Hendrickson leveled the playing field after hitting and blocking errors by the Knights. Later on, digs by junior Aaniya Thornton and senior Satya Russ steadied the Knights, and then kills by senior Sophie Koch and Carlson allowed for the Knights to lead 21-16. Thornton dug a Hawk serve, passed it to Rosenblatt who then set Carlson, for a kill past the hands of the Hawks back line, leading the Knights to win the set 25-20. Caption by Sofia Saucedo.
