On November 4, 1998, Hype Williams’ movie ‘Belly’ released in theaters starring Nas and DMX. ‘Belly’ was the film debut for both Nas and DMX, and stars other familiar faces like T-Boz, Method Man, and Taral Hicks. The now cult classic film features an unforgettable opening scene with Nas and DMX walking under the club lights into New York City’s former nightclub, The Tunnel. The film’s pairing soundtrack features music from Soul II Soul, D’Angelo, Mýa, Raekwon, Jay-Z, and more.
