We are kicking off #FirstGenWeek with a #MoodySpotlight on Mikayla Ojeda! Mikayla is a first-gen Longhorn studying advertising! “I chose advertising because of my interest in business strategy. This major allows me to apply my strategic and creative thinking skills to different projects. I enjoy contributing to campaign strategies, performing market research and drawing data-driven conclusions.” Mikayla loves #TEXASMoody because she’s connected with many of her peers in different majors and faculty members. “I am constantly inspired by my classmates and the exciting projects or internships they are completing.
