This is the story of how a single corner kickstarted a racetrack’s complete redesign. Fuji Speedway has had a reputation for high speed and its original first corner only bolstered that. Daiichi, as it was appropriately called saw drivers enter the downhill banking at up to 200mph (in group 7 cars).
