UC Berkeley students Riya Singh and David Zhang were still about 300 feet away and said they had waited around an hour in the line and estimated the full length of the line to be around two major blocks. Students, including Zhang, took a break from precious studying time for their midterms in order to wait in the line and exercise their right to vote. “Everyone is choosing to stay, everyone is exercising their vote,” campus student Adhya Kasamsetty said. “There's people behind me, there’s people in front of me that have been here for longer. It's the right thing to do.
