Working her way from Customer Service Attendant to Facilities Supervisor, Patel created lasting memories and relationships all the while. “I have met a lot of my friends in this position; it’s a really good environment to meet people. I have been involved in a lot more opportunities that I would not have had had I not worked here. It has definitely helped expand my network. With school, I haven’t really had a lot of time to go out and join a ton of organizations and meet people, so this was a great way to have a job and get experience like that while also meeting new people and network in that way.” After graduation, Patel will be working as an emergency room scribe in Northern Virginia prior to going to medical school.
