On Saturday, BYU alum Mark Rober listed the BYU’s “folding chair of the future” as the #7 coolest thing featured on Crunch Labs in the past year. He saw the chair when he was on campus working with engineers on the World’s Smallest Nerf Blaster project. The chair is a compliant mechanism, cut out of a single sheet of plywood (or as also seen in the video, acrylic). Check out the folding chair of the future, designed at BYU!
