"One of the most challenging yet rewarding parts of my university journey was adjusting to life in Edmonton. Coming from Nigeria, where it is warm year-round, my first winter here was a bit of a shock. I remember layering up with as many clothes as I could. Over time I saw how the U of A embraces the cold and learned to do the same - and even have fun with it! If I could give my first-year self advice, it would be to use all the resources available to you and not be afraid to explore. University is the perfect time to explore new opportunities, build connections and discover more about yourself — and the resources and communities available here make that journey so much easier and more rewarding.” Eniola is a third-year Computing Science student from Lagos, Nigeria, and this month’s featured #UAlberta Ambassador. Between classes, she will be trying to fit in a power nap 💤 or video calling her family back home. 💻 #UAlberta
