GCU’s K-12 department, along with the Honors College, invited students, staff and faculty from schools across the valley to experience a powerful poverty simulation. Crossroads Foundation did an incredible job putting participants in the shoes of those who live below the poverty line by having them create and try to sell paper bags to feed their families. The event concluded with a debrief, words from President Mueller and Pastor Tim and left participants inspired to to pursue opportunities to serve. #gcuhonors #crossroadsfoundation #povertysimulation
