This one’s for the GIRLS👑 Back together 10 years later, like no time passed🫶🏼 If you didn’t know, a long time ago I did really good at a pageant…that wound me up on the Miss America stage amongst all these other beautiful women you see here. To be frank, I was a struggling college student who needed tuition money to finish my degree. A friend told me about the Miss America pageant of which I laughed off thinking…ME??? In a pageant??? Please🤣 Well I put my mind to it and game planned it all out: I’d win, get my money and get the heck out…little did I know these girls would become life long friends and the Miss America pageant was one of the best things to ever happen to me. Amongst some poise and a little bit of grace, I learned how to speak on camera, how to present myself and how to chase down a dream. So much of the skillset I learned while being Miss Tennessee is used in my career today…especially the art of connection which these girls greatly helped me cultivate. I’m forever ...
