🤔 Do you ZONE TONE? ...

Zone toning creates visual interest within the hair and gives you the opportunity to play with different tones.
I often use cool and warm tones in different zones to make sure color hits the light a certain way!
Here’s what I mixed and why! ⬇️
Color created with moroccanoilpro Blonde Voyage Powder Lightener + Color Calypso for its long-lasting tones and incredible shine. ✨
Zone 1: Color Calypso 6N + 7VB (1:2) - The cooler shade at the root absorbs light and adds depth to the overall look.
Zone 2: Color Calypso 9N + 8G (1:2) - The warm tone reflects light, adding shine to the hair.
Zone 3: Color Calypso Clear - Clear on the ends will keep the blonde light and bright. I find that the ends often don’t need a toner.
* If you feel that a tone needs to be added, feel free! You could mix in a ratio of (1:3 heavy on the clear).
