It’s been truly inspiring to follow runwithtara’s incredible journey conquering the Rocky Mountain Slam in honor of her mother, who passed away from ALS eight years ago. The RMS consists of four of the most grueling 100-mile races in the Rocky Mountain region: Bighorn 100, Hardrock 100, Wasatch 100, and Bear 100. Tara not only trained for and completed these monumental ultras, but also raised funds for the als Association, touching and inspiring countless others along the way. "Completing the Rocky Mountain Slam this season was something I’ll always cherish. We are so much stronger than we think we are. But, the real highlight for me was our running community coming together and support of my efforts to fundraise on behalf of my mom who passed from ALS in 2016, which coincidentally was the last time a female finished the Rocky Mountain slam.
