there is a sports game aura to presidential elections and what a PRIVILEGE to never need to consider what rights might be on the chopping block for you. i will love louder and more deeply. i don’t listen to the news to tell me what to believe - i listen to the words & actions of the people in charge. i hope i’m wrong. i love being wrong and learning new things. but do not tell me my fears are not real or that i have nothing to worry about. you don’t get to vote for this man and then tell me about how good the stock market was on election day. that always happens. i’ll work to be your friend but we are going to have to acknowledge the GOP elephant in the room. it’s gonna be work. i get that times are hard. but you don’t get to ignore that these fears coming up for people are also real. maybe both sides can do a better job of listening to each other. that is something i can do. but don’t make me listen to you if you won’t consider listening to me. . . . . . . . . . . . . . ....
