Last week, Dr. Kennia Reddrick, Middle School English teacher and former diver for the U.S. Navy, and Mr. John Horton, former captain in the U.S. Marine Corps (and husband of teacher Mrs. Aseltine) shared stories about their service with our Middle School students. Following these remarks, students wrote letters to troops in collaboration with Operation Gratitude, an organization that sends care packages to troops, veterans, recruits, first responders, and caregivers.
