Earlier today, Class 6 students visited the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University with Mr. Lagor. Students learned how Boston was formed by volcanoes and glaciers 600 million years ago and how those rocks rose back to Earth’s surface. Students also sketched the outcrop and took etchings of the exposed glacial striations.
