Winner of the 2023 Drama Short Film Award at the Hispanic Film Festival in Los Angeles. This short film was written by inspiration of the cancer battle of Josiah's mother - Sandy. She passed away in May of 2021 and "A Brief Silence" was made only two months after. This film tells the story of the bond between a mother and a son when her cancer returns and his freshman year of college is about to begin.
