A piece of history on our wall 🤩 Monday night, we celebrated the jersey unveiling of Alyssa Nakken (‘15), who is an alumna of the program and a baseball coach for the sfgiants. Since her time in the program, Alyssa has made history as the FIRST full-time female coach in MLB history and is shattering glass ceilings for women in sports. Her jersey will serve as a welcome reminder of how Alyssa changed the world, how the program helped her along the way, and how she will inspire the next generation of sport industry leaders and disruptors. It was a momentous evening for the USFSM Sport Management program. Thank you to all the students, alumni, and advisory board members who were in attendance.
