Deputies with the Crime Impact Team have been continuously searching for a male identified to have several active warrants. Investigation led them to the male at a residence in Woodland Hills where he was successfully apprehended. A search of the male resulted in the recovery of a makeshift mailbox key and fraudulent checks. A search of the room the male was residing in resulted in the additional discovery of several altered keys, numerous altered and fraudulent checks, and more. The male, who has prior convictions of identity theft and forgery, was booked for several charges including identity theft with prior, forgery, fraud and more, and remains in custody at this time.
