QUAIL IC: Castaic 8-17-22 Firefighters battled a quick moving fire that at one point threatened the Castaic Animal Shelter yesterday. Fire crews with lacountyfd lacofireairops quickly began structure protection on the buildings along with starting a second alarm assignment. The fire grew to about 50 acres and forward progress was stopped as of 7:55pm yesterday evening. No structures were lost or damaged.
