🖼️🎨 Upper level French classes took a field trip to the National Gallery of Art yesterday, with a focus on the Impressionist permanent collection galleries and the special exhibit “Paris 1874: The Impressionist Moment.” In the classroom they have been learning about the technological advances that led to Impressionism and its reaction against classical art. They just finished up presentations describing the typical characteristics of Impressionist art and learned about a number of artists whose paintings we were then able to see at the museum. #GoKnightsGoKnowledge
