The time has come. To all our day-ones out there, this one’s for you. Originally brewed for our grand opening, 7 years ago, Saison de Foam is now the first saison we’ve ever put in cans. While Saison de Foam has been brewed a number of times since April of 2016, its reappearances have been limited over the last few years. Now, we want you to be able to enjoy it at home. This classic Farmhouse Ale utilizes CZ Saaz and Hallertau Blanc in the whirlpool, and is dry-hopped with Hallertau Blanc to impart a hint of fruit onto the flavor palette. A similar rendition to last year’s on-site version of this beer, you’ll find aromas of citrus on the nose, followed by a hint of pepper on the palate. True to the style, a crackling dryness can be found on the finish. This is a beer that brings us back to that very first summer by the waterfront.
