I was fortunate enough to have had the best seat in the house to watch the Beyond Monumental Marathon on Saturday morning. I came to the realization this weekend that I’d actually never seen a Marathon like this in person and had no grasp on the actual scale of these events. Pretty cool to see this many people come together in a joined effort to challenge their mental and physical limits like this. Running has never really been my thing, and I don’t know that it ever will be outside of competing in other sports; but dope nonetheless to see the community come together in ways like this.
