Snowboarding in Finland ✅ It may get dark at like 4 in the afternoon but the 2 hour sunsets are totally worth it! We definitely had early season conditions out here but it was so beautiful that it was impossible not to enjoy yourself. And I gotta say, it felt SO good to back on my board. After a season of being pregnant and then a season with a newborn (where I barely made it up on the hill), this is the most excited I’ve been about winter in a long time. It’s weird to think that I have been snowboarding for over 20 years now… there’s been many highs and lows but I’m totally falling back in love with this sport that has shaped so much of my life over the years. It’ll be a few weeks now until my local resorts open back home in Colorado so I feel incredibly grateful for this little early season getaway.
