Video by bertiegregory | Our goal was to film a fin whale aggregation in Antarctica, but it turned out so many other species gathered in mind-blowing numbers to feed with the whales. The most surprising were these marbled rock cod (a rarely seen Antarctic fish that normally lives near the seabed). Thousands of them fed on krill near the surface, a thousand feet (300 m) off the bottom.
