This morning students from the BSU Club participated in the Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day—recognized on November 14th every year as a way to commemorate her historic steps. In 1960, Ruby Bridges became one of the first Black children to integrate an all-white school in New Orleans. Her brave walk that day made it possible for so many that came after her to attend the schools that they do now! #rubybridgeswalktoschoolday #troubiepride #sacramento #stfrancishs
