Jackie Burke Jr. - Staff Sergeant Burke served as a combat trainer at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, demonstrating survival techniques to Marines heading overseas who may face kamikaze attacks or hand grenade detonations. Tommy Bolt spent four years in the U.S. Army during World War II (in 1945 serving as head pro at a club in liberated Rome).
