Brave heart! After a few hours I was finally able to normalize a little bit and was feeling much better, but legs were real heavy. My knees have been struggling a bit lately so I wasn’t sure how the heavy squats would be, but I figured it was only 20 reps so how bad could it be. I hammered a couple Advil and took a bath in voltaren. Giddy up! Warming up the squats felt pretty heavy but mich_letendre told me they looked fast. She was probably lying to make me feel better, but hey whatever works 🤷🏼‍♂️. I did like 2 hspu in warm up, i don’t have a lot of extras in the bank and needed to save them for the floor. The workout went pretty smooth. The squats got better as I went and found a good rhythm in the hspu complex. The first complex after a set of squats always felt so easy so I almost got caught getting greedy in my last set. Rushed into the second complex and really had to grind out the last rep.
