Feeling adventurous? Check out these shots from a recent trip to fryingpantowerofficial with oifc_tv ! The Frying Pan Tower is a decommissioned U.S. Coast Guard lighthouse 32 miles off the coast of North Carolina. The Coast Guard also staffed the light station from 1964-1979 to help ships avoid running aground the shallow waters of the Frying Pan Shoals. The OIFC crew went out to the tower for an overnight trip on their 38 Freeman to catch and clean some fish on the way out there. Here’s the kicker: the only way up is via rope swing. Would you do it? Check out the full ep on OIFC YouTube channel today. 🇺🇸 #VeteransDay #FreemanBoatworks #OIFC #FryingPanTower
