Fifty-four years ago, on Nov. 14, 1970, Southern Airways Flight 932 crashed near Tri-State Airport, taking the lives of 75 Thundering Herd coaches, players, staff, supporters, and crew. On Thursday, Nov. 14, at noon, the Marshall University community will gather at the Memorial Plaza for the annual fountain ceremony.
