Today in Hip-Hop — Wu-Tang Clan dropped their debut studio album, ‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).’ You only get one first impression, and on November 9, 1993, the members of wutangclan made the most of that opportunity with an album that sounded like nothing else at the time. With ‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers),’ RZA had a vision to introduce the group as a unit before giving each member their moment to step into the spotlight with their own solo debut. The album’s title draws inspiration from the martial arts films ‘The 36th Chamber of Shaolin’ and ‘Enter The Dragon’—elements of this theme weaves throughout the entire project.
