We have something to celebrate! Recently, our Training team visited the YMCA of Northern Colorado & Southern Wyoming and trained nearly 150 YMCA staff in youth suicide prevention and mental wellness! This training was made possible thanks to generous donors through our Coaches Care program. Coaches play a vital role in the lives of young athletes and students. They are often among the first to see concerning behaviors in youth, even before parents and teachers. By providing suicide prevention training for local coaches on how to recognize the signs and symptoms of suicidality, we can properly equip them to help save lives. Coaches Care is a collaborative project of Clinica Family Health & Wellness, Buffs4Life, YMCA of Northern Colorado, and Boulder Valley Rotary Club.
