🌞 One section down at 300 W. Summit in Charlotte’s Southend! 🌞 These murals call for a deeper connection to nature and a reminder of our need for balance and harmony with the natural world. In the heart of the piece, an archetypal, horned, dryad-like figure rises — her hair forming a nest for cardinals to lay their eggs, from which blooms provide nectar for the honey bees. (There's actually an apiary on the rooftop!)🐝🌸 The full mural will unfold across three rooftop sections, each reflecting the cycle of the day from east to west, following the sun’s path. The eastern tower will capture the dawn, this section represents midday, and the western tower will evoke dusk and nightfall.
