🌿 Meet Eunice Straight Head (She/They), a Mnicouju Lakota artist from the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, and our November Future History Honoree for Indigenous People's Month! 🌄 n00nice is the Manager at Oyate Studio in Eagle Butte, South Dakota, holding a BFA in Photography and now pursuing a Master’s in Lakota Leadership and Management at Oglala Lakota College. 📸✨ Rooted in family tradition to “walk the example” as role models and mentors for future generations, Eunice’s journey is inspired by the wisdom of matriarchs and teachers, fueling their creativity. Last year, they were honored as one of TikTok Pride’s Visionary Voices, collaborated with The New Yorker and The Washington Post, and were recently crowned Miss He Sapa Win 2024-2025 at the Black Hills Powwow.
