COLOR GUARD SHOWS OUT: The color guard performed without the band for the first time this school year at the pep rally on Halloween. The guard danced to “Summertime” by Billy Stewart. The crowd earned a roar from the crowd. Senior Audrey Eberly said that the student enthusiasm made it a lot more fun. “The crowd was hyping us up a lot,” Eberly said. “It made it a lot easier to do our routine without that pressure.” The team brought spirit and excitement to the pep rally and helped hype up the crowd. Junior Lark Thompson explained that she was nervous but excited to show the school what they’ve been working on. “I was definitely nervous, but I was glad that we were finally able to get out there and show the school what we have been doing,” Thompson said. “I think everyone did really well.” The two guard members explained their favorite piece of equipment to use is a rifle, due to it being difficult but also fun.
