Hunting Haggis!
Woke up to some pretty sore legs and not looking forward to 60 thrusters. This was pretty clearly a back half event so the plan was just to be smooth through until I got back to the thrusters on the way back then try to have some closing energy.
In heat 1 it was pretty clear that singles on the log muscle ups was a useful strategy and a good way to keep moving and save some arms for the thrusters. To be honest I found it pretty annoying since I’m pretty good on the log, it sort of neutralized my advantage 😂.
The workout went pretty much how I expected. I held onto triples on the log and probably should have just done singles earlier 🤷🏼♂️. I didn’t have so push I wanted on the second set of thrusters and the breaks got long and the row was much harder than I expected. The self negotiating started really early and it took me longer than I wanted to get to a solid cruising speed.
