Approximately 177,000 Thai children, primarily boys, are involved in child labor, including agriculture, auto repair, other service trades, construction, manufacturing, and the hospitality industry. More than half of these children are not in school, work in hazardous conditions, have long and irregular working hours, and are at risk of sexual exploitation.
Education enrollment figures are directly related to the risk of child exploitation. The Dressember Network works in Thailand to help combat child trafficking through mentorship and educational programs, scholarship funds, and family-strengthening activities.
Help combat child exploitation in Thailand by donating to a Dressember style campaign today.
