“It wasn’t the result we were hoping for but it is hard to put into words exactly how proud I am of this team. This was a completely new group with literally half of the program being freshman. For us to finish top half and make the conference final with that group is a testament to the culture of the program as a whole. Our returners worked hard to lead and prepare in the off-season and our freshman bought in from the get go. It took some time to iron out the wrinkles but we peaked at the right time and that is all I can ask for. Thank you seniors for your blood, sweat, tears and time.
