UGA police testified on Monday at the Laken Riley murder trial that the defendant in the case, Jose Ibarra, had a “fingernail puncture mark,” bruising and scratches on his arms and hands a day after he allegedly encountered the nursing student on the University of Georgia campus. The alleged incident occurred on Feb. 22 while Riley was running, with bodycam footage shown during the trial revealing police interviewed Ibarra on Feb. 23. #lakenriley
