A family spotted a emperor penguin on a beach in Australia – more than 2,100 miles away from its home in Antarctica. The woman who captured the moment with her two children called the interaction "breathtaking and surreal." "I can’t even imagine the journey it had been on,” she said. Researchers said it's the northernmost sighting of the species ever recorded and scientists have no idea how it got there. Gus, as the penguin is now being called, is being looked after a wildlife expert. #emperorpenguin #australia
