Lane Stadium hosts Virginia Tech vs. Clemson Nov. 9 2024. It is so hard to put into perspective what photography has done for me in my life. It’s never been about the gear, the money, or even the pictures for me. It’s the people I’ve met and the places the camera has taken me that I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Last weekend I was entrusted by our athletic department to document the Army Golden Knights Parachute Team as they jumped out of a plane and parachuted into Lane stadium. The most thrilling and exciting part for me was that I’d be in the plane with them. I was seated about a foot and a half from the open door in the plane that the jumpers were exiting from. I was strapped in and just able to lean towards this door and stick my camera out. This was absolutely terrifying but insanely awesome at the same time and I could not wipe the smile off of my face.
