Chicago Marathon Race Recap, Part 11: At this point in the race it was just mgcentro and me. The blue shirt guys and orange shirt guy either dropped back or pulled ahead. We passed Mile 20 and things were getting tough again. Matt could tell I was laboring. 🐐🗯️ Nice job Emma, you got this. It was so helpful hearing those words from someone like Matt. The weight of it holds a bit differently. I mean, he is an Olympic Gold Medalist in the 1500m for crying out loud. It’s not every day you get to hear someone of his caliber encouraging you through the toughest points of the marathon. Although, I do happen to know a thing or two about Olympians encouraging one another. __teamboss__ is full of high caliber athletes. I was lucky enough to have some of them, along with my coach, out on the course with me for so much of the race.
