Bachman’s spruce tops are harvested sustainably for a positive impact on the environment. At Bachman’s, our tree tops for winter decorations come from white or black spruce trees, harvested in Northern Minnesota and Canada. The gathering of spruce tops is a delicate process, and does not involve the harvesting of actual tree tops. Spruce tops, which grow up from the root system of a mature spruce tree, are a regenerative crop that can be harvested year after year.
