Opportunities are rare for medical students to acquire hands-on training in rope and vertical rescue along with emergency skills for treating patients in non-hospital environments. The WVSOM Rural and International Medicine Center is bringing more of these opportunities to our students. Last month, WVSOM students participated in a vertical rope rescue workshop. 🪢
